The South Beach health food chain just keeps getting bigger.
Carrot Express is a popular brand of health-conscious fast-casual restaurants based primarily out of Miami. The concept was established by Mario Laufer inside of a South Beach gas station, and quickly expanded into one of the city’s favorite spots for quick, health-forward bites. The concept revolves around providing natural, high-quality ingredients combined with a fun, comfortable, and relaxed environment.
Recently, Carrot Express has begun reaching beyond the Sunshine State and has finally established a foothold in the Big Apple. Last Year they launched their first-ever Manhattan expansion, and the details of their planned second location were broken by yours truly earlier this July. Now, as the team gets ready to finally launch their second New York outpost, more details have emerged about plans for Carrot Express’s next steps in the city.
Preparing to launch their third New York expansion to date, Carrot Express has just recently secured the lease for a brand new outpost at 600 Lexington Avenue. Located at the bustling corner of Lexington Avenue and East 52nd Street, the new space is conveniently located across the street from the critical 456 Subway station on East 51st Street. The location offers a total 2,443 square feet and was previously occupied by a Pret A Manger.
When the new Carrot Express finally opens at 600 Lexington, you can look forward to enjoying their popular all-day breakfast dishes, like the turkey bacon power wrap, smoked salmon bagel, fresh fruit salad, and berry almond butter toast. Beyond breakfast, you can also enjoy a variety of different customizable salads and bowls, as well as wraps and burgers with healthy ingredients and vegan options. Carrot Express also offers a robust selection of green juices and smoothies as well as light desserts and acai bowls.
