It says on its Instagram page  – which makes a cheeky Taylor Swift reference to her song of the same namesake in its bio – it is slated to open next spring. Champagne Problems will be a tavern with a full liquor license housed in the space formerly occupied by Congee Dim Sum House, which is located in a seven-story masonry on the Lower East Side. It also expects to offer 30 tables with 80 seats for customers.

The hospitality team is also behind Not a Speakeasy and UES, a lounge meets ice cream shop concept, both of which are home to the Upper East Side. The group was founded by Cortney Bond who is the primary owner and operator of Not a Speakeasy. She is also helming the new concept that is currently underway.

There is no other information available about the new concept at press time.
