This fall, Brooklyn Kura will more than double its current brewing capacity with the opening of a new and expansive, 20,000 square foot taproom and production facility in Industry City, Brooklyn. The new property invites sake lovers and novices alike to enjoy a robust menu and explore the debut of the Brooklyn Kura Sake Studies Center, which will offer regular educational programming both in-person and online.

The center will be home to various consumer-facing and industry programming including Brooklyn Kura’s weekly Introduction to Sake course – a guided tasting and introduction to the world of sake – and for hospitality professionals, a biweekly Sake Server Training. For those unable to make it in person, online versions of each course will also be available.

Brooklyn Kura’s new taproom (located right down the street from their current location) will have an entirely new menu of seasonal snacks and chef pop-ups, designed to complement the dozens of Brooklyn Kura sake on tap. The space, collaboratively designed by architect Shuji Suzumor and Kushner Studios and the Brooklyn Kura team, will also be home to regular programming like live music, larger private event capabilities, and much more.

Brooklyn Kura’s Taproom is located at 34 34th St, Brooklyn NY 11232.
