The menu at Raosu, for $69.95 per person includes offerings such as Angus Beef, Snowflake Beef Short Ribs, Oyster, Tiger Prawn, Organic Pork Belly, and Prairie Chicken from the hotpot menu, along with classic rolls and sashimi from the sushi menu.

The vision behind Raosu’s unique culinary fusion comes from the streets of China where hotpot is a traditional favorite, coupled with the modern popularity of sushi among younger demographics.

Raosu’s 10,000 sqft venue has three dining areas, a sushi bar with an open kitchen, and a full bar area. The 17-yard high ceilings give the space a bright and spacious feel, while the outdoor garden, indoor plants, and a corridor decorated with hanging chandelier curtains and 5000 baby’s breath flowers by owner Connie Zhang add a touch of elegance.

Raosu Hotpot & Sushi is the brainchild of Connie Zhang, the restaurateur behind the Royal Queen Chinese banquet restaurant in Flushing and the Shanghainese fare, Red Peony, in Manhattan. Arriving in the United States at the age of 12, Connie opened her first New York restaurant in 2014.

Connie Zhang says in a statement, “Raosu Hotpot & Sushi is my vision for a dining experience that caters to the fast-paced, diverse lifestyle of New Yorkers while maintaining an unparalleled commitment to quality. It’s an exciting fusion of flavors and cultures, where every guest can partake in a culinary journey that transports them from the bustling streets of New York to the vibrant culinary landscapes of China and Japan.”

Raosu Hotpot & Sushi is Located at 310 W 38th St, New York, NY 10018 and will be open Mon-Fri 11:30 AM-11 PM | Sat-Sun 12-10:30PM.
