Raising Cane’s, one of the nation’s fastest growing Restaurant chains, is officially opening its second New York location in NoHo at 20 Astor Place, just steps from the NYU campus and one of the city’s most popular neighborhoods. This location closely follows the opening of Cane’s Global Flagship in Times Square, which made its debut in late June and was met with more than 10,000 hungry Customers on opening day alone.

The Astor Place Restaurant is 4,500 sq ft and situated on the corner of Astor Place and Lafayette Street, leaning into the building’s existing charm and architecture with its nostalgic, neon red marquis – a nod to the building’s former tenant, Walgreen’s – fixed to the exterior. Inside, Customers will see artwork reflecting Astor Place and the eclectic vibes.

“The opening of our Astor Place location is an exciting milestone as we expand outside of Times Square and into other areas of the city,” said Raising Cane’s founder Todd Graves in a statement. “We saw great success with our Global Flagship and that showed us that we have incredible potential in New York and beyond. Our NYC Caniacs have long awaited the opening of Astor Place and I’m excited that it’s officially time to open the doors.”

During Cane’s Astor Place grand opening celebration the first 20 people in line will win Free Cane’s for a Year through Cane’s “Lucky 20” drawing. Entries are accepted from 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. ET and winners will be announced shortly after during the opening ceremony. In attendance for the ceremony will be the NYU Dance Team, Village Alliance, NoHo Bid, Greater Chamber of NYC and Gayle Villani from The Go Project, who will accept a check donation from Cane’s on behalf of the organization.
