Full:Life Hospitality will be opening MFAW on Friday, March 8th at 518 W 27th St., beneath the Selina Chelsea Hotel.

The luxe space will offer guests an upscale experience featuring the choice between two distinct, yet equally exciting, experiences:

  • The Vinyl Room redefines the way music is experienced. Billed as the venue’s listening bar, featuring high-quality audio equipment set in an acoustically optimized environment, patrons will experience high-fidelity sounds in an intimate setting. An ideal scene for audiophiles and casual listeners alike. The space pays homage to the art of listening, providing a meticulously crafted audio environment where every note, beat, and harmony is felt deeply.
  • The Lounge is ideal for those who like to pair movement and music and features the energy of live performances, DJ sets, and more. The Lounge invites guests to dance, mingle, and lose themselves in the rhythm of the music.

MFAW will also include a curated cocktail program featuring music-themed cocktails including HI-FI Collins made with Mezcal, Cocchi Americano, Lemon, and Muddled Cucumbers, a Martinez Martini, with Angostura Bitters, Sweet Vermouth, Maraschino Liqueur, Gin, and Orange Peer, and the One Hit Wonder made with Cocolopez, Giffard Abricot, Plantation Dark, and Diplomatic Rum.

“When conceptualizing the lighting design and consulting on the interior design, I wanted to thoughtfully compliment the concrete and wood tones as the negative space,” said James Pfautz in a statement. This created an opportunity to highlight textured wood grains, industrial curved concrete, and warm-toned plush fabrics. The inspiration is the balance between two separate spaces as one; blending analog movement with modern tech inputs.”

“We opened MFAW because music isn’t just heard, it’s experienced, said Thatcher Shultz, James O’Hanlon, Duncan Abdelnour and Andy McDonald, owners of Full:Life Hospitality. “It’s about creating a space where people can truly immerse themselves in the artistry and soul of sound, fostering a culture of appreciation for high-quality audio and the magic it brings to our lives.”

Music For A While is located beneath the Selina Chelsea Hotel and will be open from 10PM – 2AM Friday and Saturdays.
