Get those controllers ready, New York, because one of Brooklyn’s most popular gaming clubs is planning a massive new Manhattan expansion.
Coexist Gaming is a community-centric and subscription-based gaming lifestyle company that provides a 360° inclusive ecosystem for culture, connection, opportunities, and entertainment. Founded by Grammy-nominated recording artist Jaye Watts, Coexist Gaming’s inclusive and representative ecosystem is designed to incubate talent and accelerate IP.
As a membership based lifestyle brand for the gaming community, Coexist Gaming offers its members exclusive access to the Game House, a safe place for fun and leisure that facilitates education through path-to-pro workshops and classes for the community. The Game House also features a menu “with foods that make vegans and carnivores alike salivate,” offering casual items to gamers like beef, chicken, and pizza empanadas, as well as wings, tacos, sliders, and bowls.
In addition to their Game House, Coexist Gaming sponsors regular events for members like Anime Wine & Chill Watch Parties, Smash Bros competitions, Taco Tuesdays, Game Jams, and so much more. A combination incubator and social club, Coexist Gaming brings people from all walks of life to celebrate the joys of gaming with friends.
Now, after years of successful operation in Brooklyn, Jaye is taking her company to the next level with a brand new space in Midtown. Opening up at 325 West 38th Street, Coexist Gaming’s latest space will feature a maximum capacity of 235 guests, divided between the basement, ground floor, and mezzanine. Jaye is set to acquire a full liquor license for the space and is proposing operating hours of 8:00 AM – 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday, and 10:00 AM – 12:00 AM Saturday and Sunday.
The spacious new location is a serious upgrade for the young company, and will enable Coexist Gaming to add exciting new live events to its roster. The space is also licensed for live music and karaoke, so members will be able to enjoy exclusive events with their friends. It is not clear when Jaye plans to launch her new location, but their original home in Brooklyn is still open.
