The small space with limited seating is slated to offer the South Asian street food staple paratha rolls. Kolachi will offer two roll options, either chicken or beef, that will be served with fries. This is husband-and-wife duo Saif Qaiz and Kiran Lutefeali’s first food business. He formerly worked in finance and has told press that he wanted to pursue the hospitality venture to bring food from his home country of Pakistan to the greater New York community. The duo tapped Myan Jones, a former executive sous chef at P.F. Chang’s, to helm the kitchen, according to Eater.

It is slated to be open on weekdays from 4 p.m. to midnight and 11 a.m. to midnight on Saturday and Sunday. It is replacing the space formerly occupied by Sweet Generation Bakery, which shut down in the East Village during the pandemic.
