Frankie’s Pub was a vibrant gay bar that shuttered in November only after a few short months of debuting in June, according to local blog W42ST. Prior, it was a “lively and eclectic hub” called Thirst.

The application to acquire the space for an unnamed concept was filed by Christopher Kelly under It’s Him LCC who says he was involved with the historic gay nightclub The Factory in West Hollywood from 2011-2018.

The club and greater factory space in the historically gay neighborhood of Hollywood was reportedly demolished in 2020, despite mass protest from the local community, to be replaced by a hotel and shopping complex.

The new concept’s proposed hours of operation are 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. daily. It is slated to offer 16 tables with 62 seats, as well as one service bar and one-stand up bar, the latter of which will have 18 seats.

The “food and bar establishment” will offer food including starters such as a hummus trip for $21 and greek burrata for $20, salads from Greek for $17 to spinach apple cranberry for $20, mains such as fish tacos for $25 and prime rib burger for $29, as well as sides such as sauteed greens for $12 and feta fries for $14.

It will also offer desserts such as s’mores cake for $15 and ice cream including vanilla bean, rich chocolate and seasonal berry for $7 a scoop.

The application says there will also be a robust cocktail menu ranging from an autumn apple crisp to a pecan old fashioned, pumpkin spice negroni, cranberry mule and spiced pear martini, as well as serving beer and wine.
