The ground floor space of the two-story brick building has been vacant since it shuttered at the end of 2018 after serving the neighborhood for 15 years, according to Eater. The team seeking the space claims to have operated a concept at the World Trade Center since 2021, describing their new yet-to-be-named concept as “Korean American fusion.”

Its proposed hours of operation are noon to midnight from Sunday through Thursday and noon until 2 a.m. on the weekends. It is slated to offer 36 tables with 124 seats, as well as one bar.

Its proposed menu items include but are not limited to soy garlic calamari for $18, yubu and beer tartar for $22, doenjang buttered cornish hen for $16, prawn gambas for $16, stuffed cabbage ssam for $16, spicy carbonara ddukbboki for $18, spicy beef short rib for $39 and a wagyu hambak steak burger for $32.
