The menu is still in the works but it anticipates having pizza, steak and pasta, according to Eater. Its manager Anis Ovesati says the location has two pizza ovens. Frank Restaurant’s flagship at 88 2nd Street in the East Village has been a staple since 1998, serving various Italian antipasto and pasta dishes. It has since developed various spinoff concepts including the Lower East Side’s Lil’ Frankie’s, the East Village’s Supper, the Lower East Side’s Daddies, and the East Village’s Lil’ Frankie’s Grocery Store. All of the concepts are owned by restaurateur Frank Prisinzano who also founded East Village Radio in 2003. The well-established Frank brand also sells merch.

CORRECTION: This article previously stated that new restaurant coming to 200 9th Avenue in Chelsea would be an outpost of Frank Restaurant, according to information from its future manager. However, owner Frank Prizinzano told Eater that it is an entirely new concept.
