He shares that he is aiming to provide a proper coffee shop experience, offering a wide variety of cafe beverages from flavored lattes to pour overs. It will be housed in the space formerly occupied by Tony’s Pizza on 128 2nd Avenue. Vulpio earned his barista certification from Procreate Coffee, an independent barista training course based in the city, this spring. He hired New York City-based graphic designer George Stratakis to design his brand logo, which features a coffee bean mascot.

“We will be providing you with a real coffee experience, not a corner store coffee,” he writes in a post on the cafe’s Instagram. “Elegant, incredibly flavored coffee with latte art, pour overs and some of your finest roasts.”

Vulpio has yet to announce a grand opening date and has not provided any other details at press time.
