Previously only available in Brooklyn, Myo Moe is now preparing to take her award-winning Burmese concept across the river and into Chelsea. Moving into the space at 158 8th Avenue the new Rangoon be replacing the Montmartre café that previously occupied the space. Adding an additional outdoor space in front of the restaurant, Rangoon will be capable of seating a total of 70 guests at one time.

Serving up some of the best Burmese food that can found in the city, Rangoon is especially famous for its garlic noodles and roast duck. In an effort to bring Burmese cuisine to a wider audience, Myo tries to highlight unique and delightful recipes inherited from her family like Fish Cake Coconut Curry, Tea Leaf Salad, and Tamarind Pumpkin Stew.

With a background grounded in professional training from the New York Restaurant School, Myo Moe has dedicated her life to learning the delicate ins and outs of fine cuisine. In addition to the new Rangoon location, Moe has also launched an entirely new concept called Mandalay Club. Serving up stay-at-home comfort food with a Burmese twist, Mandalay just opened up last month at 40-05 Skillman Avenue in Long Island City.
