A liquor license application filed for 202 Avenue A indicates plans for a restaurant that will serve food on the ground floor with additional storage space in the basement.

A questionnaire submitted alongside that license notes a plans for 23 tables indoors and enough seating for 54 people. The questionnaire mentions there will be an approximately 30-foot long bar near the front of the restaurant.

A menu attached to the questionnaire indicates plans to serve modern Indian food. The sample menu includes dishes like mushroom galouti samosas, kebab, paneer, biryani, curry and much more.

The logo featured at the top of the menu on the SLA questionnaire indicates that the restaurant may be called ISHQ. The motto around the logo reads, “Catch feels not just meals”.

The owners shared that the restaurant is aiming to be open sometime this fall.
