A questionnaire attached to a liquor license application lists the principals for this new business as William Wyatt, Alex Thaboua, and others. There will be 6 tables indoors and seating at a bar as well. A seating plan indicates that there will be four outdoor tables on a sidewalk cafe.

What Now NY did not immediately hear back from Wyatt for a comment or to confirm the opening timeline for this new business, but Wyatt did appear before the Community Board 3 meeting in mid-August. During that meeting he confirmed that sound proofing has already been installed in the space.

The restaurant will be on the ground floor of 135 1st Ave and will have access to the basement as well according to the liquor license application

Back in 2021, Wyatt and Thaboua opened the first Electric Burrito in the East Village before opening a second location in Chelsea. They also own Mister Paradise. While the name of this new venture has not yet been revealed, based on the different kinds of cuisine at these other concepts, it seems that whatever is coming to 135 1st Ave. will be the first of its kind.

This restaurant will serve Spanish tapas and American favorites. A sample menu features dishes like paella, bucatini, clams, hamburgers and a range of appetizers. They will be offering to-go and takeout food. Takeout will be open potentially until 4am on Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays.
