Jessica Grynberg, co-owner of the bakery, confirmed the news via email to What Now New York, indicating a late spring 2024 opening.

The new location will occupy an approximately 500-square-foot space, at 1270 Avenue of the Americas, on the street level.

The spot, which formerly served as a box office and was most recently the site of Radio City Music Hall’s gift shop, is described by Grynberg as having “a soul already,” expressing enthusiasm for the bakery’s new “beautiful little spot.”

Since its NYC debut in May 2019, Bourke Street Bakery has established itself as a staple for bakery lovers, starting with its first Manhattan location in the NoMad neighborhood. Following its initial success, the bakery expanded its footprint in the city, adding locations in Chelsea and Midtown East. The upcoming Rockefeller Center bakery marks the fourth installment in the city.

Owned and operated by the husband-and-wife duo, Paul Allam and Jessica Grynberg, Bourke Street Bakery originally hails from Sydney, Australia. Its commitment to offering a variety of baked goods, pastries, and coffee has earned it a loyal following both in Australia and now in New York City.
