Founders Nicholas Schafer and Tianxiang Wu describe the concept as a “modern, all organic coffee, tea and cocktail lounge” that will offer “select pastries, sandwiches, salads and sweets.” Their mission is to bring “a new coffee and tea experience to the neighborhood that is organic and low-carb without compromising taste.” Blending both owner’s backgrounds, The Soiree is billed to combine “Japanese elegance with a certain French je-ne-sais-quoi.”

Its menu items range from French miso toast to a Yuzu chicken wrap to Matcha-focused pastries and desserts.

Our internationally curated selection of ingredients and house made floral infusions and syrups, all organic, will provide a relaxed, refined alternative to national coffee chains and local bars,” the team writes in their liquor license application.

Its proposed hours are 8 am to 10 pm from Sunday through Thursday and 8 am to 1 am on Friday and Saturday. There will be “tasteful background music,” as well as outdoor seating for four to six people during the day time hours.
