Golden Age Hospitality was founded by restaurateur Jon Neidich in 2012, assembling a team of industry leaders with 50+ years of combined experience. Dedicated to attracting the best talent that they can find, Golden Age says that its success comes from its three key strengths that distinctively set it apart – versatility, emphasis on environment, and social capital.

Their latest project, French 37, is an extension of that philosophy. Described as a casual French café in the style of a modern Parisian bistro, the new restaurant will be simple, classic affordable, and most importantly – accessible for the neighborhood. Replacing Brigitte, which previously opened at the location in 2017, the space is well-equipped for a French bistro and has had a long tenant history of French cafés.

The team at Golden Age Hospitality is bringing an incredible amount of talent with them on this new venture. At the moment, Golden Age Hospitality operates some of the premiere restaurants across New York, including Le Crocodile, ACME, Ray’s Cocktails and Beer, and Slowly Shirley. While each restaurant is so different from one another, they all share Golden Age’s dedication to quality and environment, creating unique spaces in which weary New Yorkers can take refuge.

Located at the corner of Ludlow Street and Canal, French 37 will offer classic French hors d’oeuvres and salads alongside classic sandwiches like the croque monsieur. French 37 will also serve entrees like grilled trout and roasted chicken, as well as a plethora of desserts and cocktails.
