Morgan First, a serial entrepreneur, submitted an application to open a restaurant slated to offer a full food menu, as well as wine, beer, and cider. In 2018, she co-founded Rosé Mansion, which is a memorable museum meets wine tasting concept geared towards Millennials, with Tyler Balliet. The duo first debuted a pop-up called Wine Riot, a Millennial-focused wine tasting festival, in 2009. After making major ticket sales, the duo sold their business and opened their brick-and-mortar Rosé Mansion located at 111 West 32nd Street. The duo share over a decade of experience in the wine industry.

Rosé Mansion is slated as “an interactive wine tasting adventure that combines a wine bar, an Insta-worthy amusement park, and a science museum into one epic dreampark.”

The duo have said that they knew “rosé was more than a trend” and wanted to create a space for people to “play and learn.”

“At Rosé Mansion, our mission is to create joy and happiness,” the duo write on their website. “We want you to play, have fun, and learn about this incredible pink drink.”

They add: “We’re not a big corporation or agency. We aren’t backed by big brands or sponsors. We brought Rosé Mansion to life the old-fashioned way: maxing out our credit cards, calling in favors, and bringing in our friends to help.”
