This full-service eatery is set to replace Casa, a longstanding Brazilian restaurant that has been a fixture in the neighborhood since 1998.

According to paperwork filed for the restaurant, Zimmi’s aims to offer a unique French-style dining experience focusing on locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients and an extensive wine selection.

The ownership team behind Zimmi’s includes notable names in the hospitality and business sectors. Jenni Guizio, the former director of wine and beverage for Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality, brings an expertise in curating exceptional wine experiences.

Guizo is joined by Mark Shami of The M Jewelers, and John Della Fave, according to an SEC filing.

Zimmi’s could serve appetizers like Roasted Bone Marrow ($13) and Veal Sweetbread Toast ($16), entrees like Local Trout ($20) and Veal Chop Schnitzel ($22), alongside Pastas, Salads, and Vegetable Sides, according to a partially-complete menu submitted as part of the liquor licensing process.

Libations could include cocktails, beer, cider, and of course, wine.
