The restaurant, which will reside in the space formerly occupied by Solo Pizza, will serve appetizers such as bruschetta and burrata, as well as entrees including brick-oven pizza and seasonal pastas. The cuisine will lean northern Italian, where all the business partners hail from, especially the fare of the Emilia Romagna region because its chef is from Bologna. It is also seeking a full liquor license, and customers can expect cocktails like the classic Italian wine-based beverage Aperol Spritz to be available.
”We want to be traditional but also young and hip,” Autovino says. “It’s not the usual Italian restaurant that is outdated.”
Autovino emigrated to the U.S. about nine years ago from a town off of Lake Maggiore. He currently owns a construction company called Home Support Group.
