Wallflower is a 70s-inspired listening bar and speakeasy cocktail lounge from the Parched Hospitality Team behind Hole in the Wall located on the penthouse lounge level of the Flatiron location. The venue combines a vinyl-driven music experience with a curated selection of classic cocktails. The space features mid-century modern design with Australian influences, and everything—from the furniture, to the decor—is available for purchase.

The design of Wallflower is a cross between Mid-Century Modern and 70’s Australian aesthetics. The space features a carefully curated selection of vintage goods. There are pieces of art available, featuring local artists each month, alongside unique lamps or lights and lounge chairs. The collection also includes over 500 records, dining chairs, and plants. For glassware enthusiasts, there are several different types of glassware to choose from. Additional eclectic items include a clock, an old payphone, a vintage bubble gum machine, and an old-timey radio. The space is also furnished with tables and features a Coca-Cola menu sign, vintage beer cans, vinyl DJ turntables and speakers, and a Polaroid camera. Most of these items have been sourced from vintage sellers not just across Brooklyn and Manhattan, but from various parts of the U.S. and even Australia, with the collection growing every day.

Wallflower is developed by Parched Hospitality Group, led by Barry Dry. Barry Dry, originally from Perth, Australia, brings his extensive experience in hospitality to this new venture, with Tom Rowse co-leading the project.

Jeremy Ortiz leads the beverage program, offering a range of cocktails that blend modern techniques with classic inspirations.

Executive Chef Clint Snowling is responsible for the food program at Wallflower, which features a menu of shareable bar bites designed to complement the cocktail offerings. Throughout his career, he has worked in various roles and cuisines across the globe, developing a diverse skill set. Clint takes pride in mentoring and inspiring team members at all levels, with a focus on leadership, operations, and upholding brand standards.

Popcorn, priced at $6, features rotating flavors— guests are encouraged to ask their server for the day’s selection. Chips + Dip, at $10, includes crispy chips with a changing dip option. Loaded Fries, available for $10 or $14, come with or without chicken salt, topped with cheese whizz, bacon, scallions, and cilantro. The Shrimp Cocktail, $14, includes marinated shrimp with tomato-horseradish sauce, lemon, fried capers, and parsley. The Bread Bowl, at $14, features a crusty roll filled with scallion cream cheese and mozzarella. For $16, enjoy a Garlic Butter Pretzel with garlic butter, Maldon salt, cheese whizz, Dijon mustard, and pickle relish. Chicken Wings, also $16, are seasoned with garlic, green parmesan, scallions, and cilantro, served with green goddess sauce. Lastly, the Sausage Roll, priced at $18, is a flaky puff pastry filled with Thai-spiced pork mince, sweet chili, and spring onion.

Cocktails include the Pina Colada Highball for $14 with scotch, sherry, coconut, and pineapple; the Pornstar Martini for $15 with vodka, vanilla, passion fruit, and bubbles; and the Whiskey Sour for $14 with bourbon, amaretto, and lemon. The Manhattan Noir for $16 blends rye, vermouth, and amaro, while the Always Naked, Almost Famous for $16 features mezcal, chartreuse, lime, and Aperol. The Banana Daiquiri for $14 includes pineapple rum, banana, and lime. Martinis offered are the Vesper for $15 with gin, vodka, and blanc vermouth, and the Wallflower Martini for $16 with Four Pillars Olive Leaf Gin, fino sherry, and olive vermouth. Shoeys include the Aussie (Coopers Pale Ale with Starward Australian Whiskey) and the Mexican (Modelo with mezcal). A rotating wine program features one white, one red, two skin contact wines, and one sparkling. Happy Hour runs from 4 pm to 6 pm, Wednesday through Saturday, with $5 beers, $5 wines, and $10 cocktails.

Days and Hours of Operation: Wallflower is open Wednesday to Saturday from 4pm until late. Local DJs will be spinning vinyl every Thursday from 6pm to 10pm.

Wallflower has a capacity of 120 guests.
