Drew Popkin, founder and principal at Highpoint Property Group, has filed for the new location. Highpoint Property Group develops, operates and manages multiple properties throughout the Metropolitan New York and Tri-State areas, according to the Highpoint Property Group website.

“With decades of New York City-specific real estate experience, our team excels in sourcing, identifying, acquiring, investing, managing, designing, developing, building and overseeing the day-to-day operations of New York City real estate assets,” the website states.

As of now, little has been revealed about the new concept. It appears that it plans to offer live music in addition to a full food menu, the paperwork indicates.

The spot will take over the ground floor of the building, formerly home to Amigo by Nai, a Mexican restaurant that was known for its tacos.

It appears that Highpoint Property Group owns the building in which the new restaurant will reside. An opening timeline for the concept is not known at this time.

What Now New York has reached out to Popkin for additional information on the concept but has yet to hear back. Stay tuned for updates.
