Tom’s Juice will be opening its first brick-and-mortar store at 75 East 4th Street. Owner Tom Wright first established Tom’s Juice in 2019, and since then has been delivering homemade juices around the city, but always had a goal to own his own store.

Opt out at anytime

“I’ve been delivering juices for the last two years on the street, but I’ve always had a dream to one day get a store,” Wright told What Now New York Monday. “Naturally, I would bike around every day, but I would keep an eye out for ‘For Lease’ signs.”

The store will be a grab-and-go establishment, where consumers can take a pick of juice and continue about their day, or enjoy their drink at Tom’s bench out front. The option for delivery will also still be available.

Wright says Tom’s Juice started as a hobby after noticing there was a need for more juice products, and eventually decided to work on Tom’s Juice full time when COVID-19 first emerged.

“I like creating brands and looking at markets,” he says. “I simply saw there was a market needed for juice.”

Tom’s number one seller is celery juice, and other specials such as strawberry and cantaloupe juice are also a fun option for consumers.

As of now, no set date has been announced, but Wright is currently looking at opening the store in the first couple weeks of October. Wright also has possible plans to expand to more than one location.

“I want to see how this all unfolds,” he says. “I’m excited for having a store and not putting too many expectations on myself.”
