In last week’s article, we learned about The Related Companies’ plans to open a luxurious New American restaurant for the public on the ground floor of their latest development. Now, more details are emerging about the team’s second project, a private club for members of the new development on the 43rd floor.
Tentatively titled The Set Club, the new project is an exclusive new members-only club for the lucky residents of Related’s latest development at 455 10th Avenue. Compared to their planned ground floor restaurant and Mudroom speakeasy, The Set Club will be inaccessible to the general public without an invitation from a 455 resident. Featuring an abundance of lavish amenities like a screening room, a private restaurant, a lounge, a golf simulator, and an extravagant rooftop deck with its very own swimming pool, The Set Club will function as a rare oasis of rooftop peace in one of Manhattan’s busiest neighborhoods.
Open daily from 7:00 AM to 2:00 AM, The Set Club’s outdoor deck will close at Midnight Sunday through Thursday and 1:00 AM on Friday and Saturday. Currently applying for a full liquor license, the new establishment will be a much-needed private respite for tourist-weary Hudson Yard tenants. The neighborhood has seen a serious resurgence in bars and restaurants over the past few years thanks to The Related Companies’ dogged pursuit of development, and The Set Club is guaranteed to become the jewel of 455 10th Avenue’s crown.
