The first location, situated along Park Avenue South, first opened in March 2023. The new spot will take form at 320 Kent Avenue in Williamsburg and is expected to open by the end of the year.

Stretch Pizza offers both classic and unique pizzas, ranging from Classic NY with tomato sauce, mozzarella and parmesan, to the Old Town, which features mushroom, muenster, garlic cream and pumpernickel, or the A-maize-ing! pizza, which includes corn, cilantro, lime and cotija.

The menu also offers small plates like pesto mozzarella sticks, shishito pepper and gnocchi. The pizzeria has a limited cocktail menu and beers on tap, as well.

The second location will have some differences, according to the Eater NY, though any differences have yet to be revealed by the owners.

Both Dufresne and Peleg are not new to the New York restaurant scene. Dufresne gained acclaim for his restaurant wd~50, which was open from 2003 to 2014 and earned a Michelin star. He also owned coffee-and-doughnut spot Du’s Donuts, which closed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Peleg is the longtime owner of Breads Bakery, which serves artisan breads and pastries at five locations throughout New York City.

What Now New York has reached out to Stretch Pizza for more information on the plans for the new location. Stay tuned for updates.
