He will open a Korean concept called Golden HOF in Rockefeller Center at 16 W 48th St. in October.
Golden HOF will have an “old school Korean pub” feel. Customers can expect Korean alcohol, Asian beers, soju and makgeolli to be on the beverage list.
The menu will feature Korean anju dishes — or dishes served alongside alcoholic beverages — with unique flavors, according to the Golden HOF website. Food items will include spicy carbonara rice cakes and Korean fried chicken, according to a Grub Street article.
Yoo also owns Golden Diner, which he opened in Chinatown in 2019. It serves classic New York diner dishes with twists influenced by diverse cuisines. That menu features soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, all-day breakfast and shareable plates. While it is not solely a Korean concept, its menu features Korean-inspired items like Korean fried chicken wings. Golden Diner also features a wine and cocktail beverage program.
Yoo is also expected to open another Korean concept alongside Golden HOF called NY Kimchi. It is expected to have the same opening timeline.
