Happy Friday, New York! A brand new pizza restaurant is currently laying down plans to open up in Washington Heights, but you’re going to need to have to look your best if you want to fit in!
Shameeka Rosario is a New York based entrepreneur, fashion influencer, and medical aesthetician. The founder and CEO of “celebrity salon” Nail Posh Studio, Shameeka has dedicated her life to making people feel better about themselves and imbuing them with the confidence they need to succeed in this world. Deeply committed to making her neighbors feel “bold and sexier,” Shameeka knows that nothing can empower a person better than loving the way they look.
Now, the New York stylist and entrepreneur is planning a brand new venture for the neighborhood that seeks to bring everyone together to enjoy some good food. Dubbed Bubbles Posh Pizza, the new pizza restaurant “prides itself on providing quality, fresh ingredients such as basil, parmesan, and mozzarella.” Going out of her way to accommodate guests with different dietary restrictions, Shameeka’s new restaurant will also feature a variety of gluten-free pizzas, calzones, and pastas. In addition to the pizza, Bubbles is also in the process of applying for a full liquor license from the state of New York, so guests can look forward to enjoying their favorite drink alongside Shameeka’s fresh pizza.
Moving into the space at 300 Audubon Ave, Bubbles Posh Pizza will be replacing the Voga club that previously operated in the space. Located on the corner of Audubon Avenue and 180th street, the space is only a block away from McNally Plaza and the Washington Bridge. Only 10 blocks away from her Nail Posh Studio, Shameeka is dedicated to hiring and locally and giving back to the community, readily serving first responders and women survivors of cancer and domestic abuse.
