Owner Marisa Seifan confirmed with What Now New York that she signed a lease for the space, which will be the fourth location for Honeybrains.

Seifan started the health food brand in 2016 in NoHo and has since expanded to Saks and the Flatiron District.

“The dream is to have Honeybrains everywhere,” Seifan said. “I’ve always loved Tribeca. It’s a sophisticated, dynamic neighborhood with interesting people and it’s a cool vibe.”

The brand offers breakfast items like power oatmeal, granola and whole wheat waffles. They also serve healthy bowls, salads and sandwiches. For beverages, customers can purchase juice, or visit their Brain Bar for coffee and tea beverages infused with raw honey. Honeybrains focuses on using natural ingredients such as honey rather than artificial sweeteners to improve brain health.

Seifan said that Honeybrains is more than just a health brand — its community impact differentiates it from other brands. The family-owned business serves as a neighborhood spot that customers often visit frequently.

“What makes us stand out is the communities we create in the neighborhoods we open up in,” Seifan said. “We really get to know people in our communities and participate in them, whether it’s connecting with running clubs or doing free meditation classes. We really try to embed ourselves in the neighborhood and be your daily go-to place.”

The Tribeca location is slated to open by the end of February.
