Now, Vic Robey will be partnering up with Ilya Kanevsky to open a brand new Brasserie at 109 Ludlow Street. Tentatively dubbed Brasserie 109, the new restaurant is described as “An NYC Brasserie featuring diverse but familiar cuisine as it explores influences from home and abroad”. Operating on three different floors, the first two floors will function exclusively as a restaurant, while the third floor will operate as a private dining and mixology lounge on the weekends.

Featuring a menu inspired by French cuisine with an additional international flare, the new Brasserie will offer luxurious appetizers like oysters, escargot with garlic butter, lamb kofta kabobs, and Tuna Nicoise alongside traditional French entrees like Croque Monsieur, Vegetable Tagine, and Filet Oscar – an 8oz filet mignon with asparagus, crab, and yuzu bearnaise. In addition to the main course, the Brasserie will serve traditional desserts like Ovaltine almond mousse and ginger sage creme brulee with unique specialty cocktails like the Cherie Martini with vodka and house-made cherry cordial and the Rarity, made with Eagle Rare bourbon, cardamom, maple, and Angostura bitters.

Moving into the space at 109 Ludlow Street, Brasserie 109 will be replacing Los Feliz, a popular taqueria and bar that was known for serving over 150 different kinds of tequilas. Operating three distinct concepts on each of the three floors, Los Feliz functioned as a traditional Mexican restaurant, a cave-like party room for group events, and a secret speakeasy on the bottom floor with local DJs, bottle service, and a swanky leather seated area. With so much space across the three floors, the space is perfect for Vic’s extravagant vision for his Brasserie.
