In 2021, Camille Jetta designed her concept Dinner Party around the idea of shareable, dinner-party style plates and a welcoming atmosphere. Initially, she served picnic-style to-go meals, but Dinner Party soon transformed into a full-service tasting menu restaurant.

Now, the restaurant is going through a period of transition, relocating from 86 S. Portland Ave. to 274 Hall St. The restaurant will be closed temporarily from September until November to allow for the move to what the team describes as their “dream space.” The new spot is slated to open on Nov. 1.
“We are still the restaurant you know and love,” an Instagram post announcing the move reads. “We appreciate all the support and patience during this transition. We are so incredibly excited for this new chapter and new space. Every night will in fact be a dinner party.”
Dinner Party has become known for its rotating menu that changes every week, as well as its communal style seating. The cuisine is a mixture of French, Italian and Californian flavors.
“The restaurant aims to feel that way: like you’re dining among instant friends, laughing as much as you’re eating. The cuisine’s rustic and lovingly-made, balanced but never boring,” the Dinner Party website states. “We might seat you with strangers, or squeeze you onto a bench alongside all the friends you brought. Good company nourishes as well as good food does.”
The move was inspired by the brand’s growth and need for a larger space, which will allow the Dinner Party team to host more guests each night. However, the team promises that the hallmarks of the brand will remain consistent at the new location. For example, it will still feature a rotating prix fixe menu and communal dining, and there will be additional bar seats and private tables at the new location.
