Cuts & Slices was founded in 2018 by husband-and-wife duo Ashlee and Randy Mclaren. The duo wanted to create an elevated pizzeria that played on unexpected but delicious flavors like their signature oxtail, curry shrimp, and even chicken and waffles pizzas. Cuts & Slices has vegan, vegetarian and pescatarian options. Gluten free menu items are on the way in the near future.

A mission statement on their website reads, “At Cuts and Slices, we believe pizza is more than just food—it’s a way to bring people together. Our mission is to enrich our communities by providing quality pizza and a welcoming space that feels like home. We’re dedicated to crafting exceptional food with innovative flavors that excite and delight.”

What Now NY was not immediately able to reach a representative from Cuts & Slices for a comment.

A liquor license application submitted to Community Board 3 for review at their August meeting notes that this location will have a full kitchen. Currently only the Brooklyn location serves mimosa, sangria and other alcoholic drinks, but it seems the Lower East Side will have similar offerings. No outdoor area was listed on the application.

The ground floor restaurant does not yet have a grand opening date that has been publicly shared.
